Re: Temporary Suspension of Routine Work Activities
Attention Office Personnel,
It has come to our attention that your group has been identified as High Risk in categories including (but not limited to):
- email fatigue
- virtual meeting burnout
- acute cubicle-induced malaise
- general ennui
The Department of Strategic Shenanigans has issued a recommendation in response to this urgent situation.
Your team is advised to participate in an off-site collaboration exercise designed to improve communication, problem-solving, and all-around workplace morale. Teams experiencing routine levels of meetings, email, and spreadsheet exposure may benefit from a brief but highly engaging collaboration exercise.
Location: Spellbound Escapes at Foxwoods
Mission Summary: 60-minute immersive escape room challenge
Participants will work together to solve puzzles, decode clues, and unlock mechanisms in order to complete the mission before time expires.
Participation is urgently recommended.
Temporal Alignment & Bonus Qualification Protocol
After numerous rounds of practical testing, our experts have determined the optimal day of the week to conduct a coordinated office extraction exercise: Tuesday.
In accordance with these findings, teams conducting their excursion on a Tuesday are pre-authorized to receive a $50 instant credit toward their booking.
Operational Overview
Arrival & Briefing
Teams arrive at Spellbound Escapes and receive a short mission briefing from a Game Master before entering the room.
The Exercise
Participants have 60 minutes to solve the room by working through puzzles, riddles, logic challenges, and hidden mechanisms.
Debrief
Following the challenge, teams regroup for photos, celebration, and an opportunity to document their success for internal Slack channels or LinkedIn.
Post-Exercise Socialization
Several nearby establishments—including Guy Fieri’s Kitchen, DraftKings Sports Bar, and The Scorpion Bar—are located within a two-minute walk for teams wishing to continue the debrief over food or drinks.
